Hello, I am
Mrs. Milot and I teach science. You'll find me in Rm. 103.
We will have a lot of work to do in 6th grade, and you will have science every day for one period. You may wonder what we will study this year and I am glad to share this information with you. We will study three main categories: Living environment, Physical Setting, and Earth Science. Look at the diagram below to see the different units we will study.

You will learn how to use different lab equipment, from the triple beam balance to the microscope. We will have many labs that incorporate the scientific method and you will complete a project for the science fair. You may choose your own topic, but it has to be cleared with me first! There are many different and exciting things this year in science, and look forward to working with you this year.
In the table below are some of the units we will study and some of the web sites we may visit during the year to learn more about them. Also go to this website if you want to learn more about the things we will learn in science.
